Apple iOS update 7.0.4 Released – Bug Fixes & Improvements for iPhones, iPads and iPods


Earlier today, Apple released its next update to its Operating System – iOS 7.0.4 for iPhones, iPads and iPods. The update generally improves the overall performance of Apple devices but specifically fixes issues plaguing FaceTime calls, which failed for a number of users.

The update can only be applied to iPhone 4 and later models, iPad 2 and later models, iPad mini and fifth-generation iPod touch.

Security information about the update can be accessed here and detailed information on installing the update can be a accessed here.  The 37.6 MB update can be applied via iTunes or wirelessly.

Along with this update, Apple also released an update for Apple TV – version 6.0.2 although it is not clear what the update is for. iOS 7.0.4 comes within a month after Apple released iOS 7.0.3 that came with over 200 new features including iCloud Keychain and fixed a number of issues including issues with accelerometer.
