OS X 10.9 Mavericks Golden Master released for Developers
Two weeks back Apple announced OS X Mavericks Developer Preview and today has pushed out OS X 10.9 Golden Master (GM) version to developers. The release of GM version for AppleSeed user and Apple employees mean that apple is finally done with the completed OS X Mavericks, and this will be the final version of OS that Apple will be releasing to the public later this month. Additionally Apple has also seeded the GM build of Xcode 5.0.1, using which you will be able to build applications for Mavericks and iPhoto 9.4.7 update has also been seeded for the developers which will fix the unexpectedly quitting of iPhoto when users is running Mavericks GM Seed.
According to rumors Apple is expected to launch full-fledged OS X 10.9 Maverick in October, which will bring all new Finder Tabs, support for iBooks, the power saving App nap function, integrated Apple Maps and Compressed memory.
With Finder Tabs help users will be able to declutter the desktop by consolidating multiple Finder windows into a single window. Like Apple Maps, in OS X 10.9 iBooks will make the crossover from iOS to OS X. App Nap is a new OS architecture feature, which monitors the priority for the applications running in terms of processor, network and disk resources. OS X 10.9 has been designed maximize RAM, CPU and storage use while boosting power efficiency.
